At the time of writing (2026) equestrian activities are not currently permitted at New Zealand SCA events as they are not covered by the insurance policy at this time.

SCANZ is in discussion with our insurers to determine what extra costs and measures are required for single event coverage, but nothing has been confirmed at this time.

Equestrian activities includes all activities to do with horses, which even includes horses being on site at all.
